Continuing Our Retrouvaille Experience (CORE) is an ongoing support group for those who have attended a Retrouvaille program and who are serious about making their marriage work.
Experience has shown that going it alone results in dialogue becoming less frequent. This can lead to frustration and difficulty. Participation in CORE is optional but it helps keep dialogue going and that benefits relationships. Being involved with other couples in CORE who share a common interest in the sacrament of marriage supports effort to grow in a marriage.
CORE groups meet at least once a month. In Maryland, we have the opportunity to meet twice per month. A typical CORE meeting consists of an opening, a presentation, a dialogue question, an open sharing and a closing.
